What Really Helped with My Hard Core Drug Addiction – Testimonial Sahaja Yoga Meditation

Speaker 1: Hello, Amanda, how are you today?

Amanda: I’m doing awesome.

Speaker 1: I heard that you are doing this new kind of mediation. Do you want to talk about it a little bit?

Amanda: Yeah, I’ll share a bit about what’s going on with me. I am a recovering addict from many different types of drugs and recently I haven’t been active in my addiction at all. This type of meditation has really helped me clear my thoughts. I’ve been feeling extremely healthy.

Speaker 1: That’s very good to hear. How long have you been doing this mediation or Sahaja Yoga meditation?

Amanda: I’ve only been to two classes and the first one was about three weeks ago, and I’ve never felt better.

Speaker 1: That’s wonderful to hear. You were just telling me about how you were able to quit some of the addictions. How did you think or how did you manage to do that?

Amanda: I’ve actually used no medications at all and I believe “meditate don’t medicate” and just really, I was very spiritually awakened, awoken I guess. With the help of my higher power and finding my inner peace, I’ve been able to fight off every single time that I’ve had a craving.

Speaker 1: That’s wonderful. So, are you totally off the medication as well as off the drugs now?

Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. I am clean and sober now, just about two months and I didn’t take any medication at all.

Speaker 1: Wow, that’s really good to hear. Why would you recommend Sahaja Yoga meditation to someone else who is into drugs, who is into the addiction? Why would you recommend it?

Amanda: Well, for one, you feel high on life and when you find that inner peace, and you live just happy and I feel high and you can’t ask for freer and higher than that. It just really stops all the cravings completely and you just feel fantastic and it makes you feel like you’re healing inside.

Speaker 1: That’s perfect. Perfect. And that’s what the aim, that’s what the purpose of these classes is and that’s why we always have it free, as we call, it’s free meditation in Sahaja Yoga meditations.
