As a child I like many others was absolutely fascinated by Superman and all his heroics. Slowly, as one grew up the feeling started to sink in my mind that this is after all fiction and it is not possible to ever become like one. Then later the whole definition changed in my adulthood, just being good to everyone in every way makes you feel good…kind of like a nice Superman ! My perspective then suddenly changed after a 2 minute meditation exercise that I found on a pamphlet. It showed us how to balance our right and left channels…now what does that actually mean and hang on how is it related to the Superman topic in any way ? My discovery was after many years of seeking in which I went to all kinds of people and Gurus and there came a stage when I felt it was all going wrong and instead of becoming a Superman my health, emotional state and even work was getting badly affected. Those 2 minutes changed my life completely. I realized, in few months and then years that God is for real and if we want we can aspire to become like a Superman…at least aspire to be one depending on our state of ascent and desire to change the world. But, this Superman was going to be different…more than outside it was the Journey within to become a Divine being, which in course of time made me realize that one could still do amazing things without wearing a fancy Superman dress or for that matter fly in the air or have those macho muscles.
When I started Sahaja Yoga my whole perspective on things changed, I could see the impact of Divine love on me and how it was in a way curing me from all that I was in the past which took me away from Divinity. In Sahaja Yoga as you progress (and honestly i have not achieved that state but few others have) Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi has talked of states such as Nirvikalpa and beyond which take you into the Divine realm of becoming a pure instrument of the Divine or God Almighty. When we achieve that state our witness power becomes so strong that by the sheer movement of one’s hands and fingers one is able to deliver results far more powerful and relevant that even a million Supermen could not have done. Now, the question comes…if that was true why do we still continue to have problems in this world and what are those highly evolved souls doing ? It is a relevant question but the answer to that is that all such powers can be used but as per the Divine will, it is not necessary to move mountains to prove the will of God but a far better approach and result will be achieved by changing the hearts of human beings and taking them to a state of Self Realization. Imagine, if everyone gets to that evolved state through Sahaja Yoga or at least is 50% into that state then things can change…problems can stop…believe it or not but almost all of the issues we face today are self created. The nature shows its respite when we break Divine rules and laws but when all are Self Realized then Mother nature will also be in peace and manifest its true love that we are able to comprehend and experience 🙂 May all in this world endeavor to become that Superman in a Sahaj way….Hope and prayer to the world and may peace be with all.
