Hi. My name is Ashwini Kumar. I’m consultant radiologist and I work in NHS. I was blessed by Shri Mataji when I had the first opportunity to see her. She was just passing by from, I suppose, US to India and it was the Heathrow Airport, when I had a chance to see her and it was very nice experience for me. Like she wasn’t looking at anyone but at the same, time she was looking at everyone. So, that thing has thrilled me because I’m from a background where I know all God and Goddess and everything but that was my first interaction or encounter. There wasn’t any breeze or anything flowing around but Mother’s hair was just flowing like a very silent river having some ripples, like something is working out around that area. So, that was my experience. And later on, I came to this country and I was not doing any job but now I can correlate everything that, after having to see Mother, everything turned around for me. Immediately, I got interview call and somehow, I got selected as well. And then, I got my first job which was in London. As soon as I started my job, I heard that there is a puja. I didn’t know the meaning of that, so out of curiosity I went there and I saw a very huge gathering first time in my life and I was amazed by the fact that all people, they were so disciplined, so dedicated I couldn’t have imagined other than that place. And then I spoke about this incident to my wife and the amazing thing what happened there was, Mother was physically quite old but her eyes, they were very attentive, like, the people surrounding her were putting Mother’s hand or something back in position because they were just hanging around, there wasn’t any control over the body, but the mind and eyes were so sharp. And again, I can feel it when I was in the puja. And other funny thing happened with me that in the puja, the people said that whoever has come from UK, they have to pay £100 as an entering into puja or something but who are not from UK, they have to be only £50. So, I just tried to behave smartly and I paid fifty pound only. But on my way back, when I was returning from puja, I got into the wrong train and I have to pay a penalty for that and that was exactly fifty pound. So, now, that makes sense to me that we cannot save money in the wrong way, you have to pay somewhere else. So, yes, and things have changed since I saw the Mother and they have changed a lot, only I can experience. That’s it, that’s my little story.
Interviewer: Can I just ask, which year was that, which puja was that when you saw Shri Mataji? Was that Henley?
Ashwini: Henley on Thames. Before that, there was one more puja, there were puja and I went to both the pujas there.
Interviewer: 2005 or 2006?
Ashwini: 2006, it was 2006 and I saw Mother in 2005 in month of September and then, my job was sorted very close to where the puja venue was there. So, it all makes sense now.
Interviewer: You’ve worked out.
Ashwini: Yeah, down 10 years, 9 or 10 years now, to me, everything makes sense how it happened, how it worked out. But I sill have to go a long way and I’m trying my best to establish in Sahaja yoga.
